The Sellwood3u HMI is a powerful PC based HMI / SCADA application for the Mitsubishi FX PLC. This easy to use program empowers you to build a human interface for your process in a few minutes that really looks good and everyone will rave about. This is the quick and easy HMI for a Mitsubishi FX PLC that will save you time and money. Sellwood can often just be added to an existing computer and run with other applications. And Sellwood runs as any Windows© application that can be moved, sized or minimized. Install Sellwood on your laptop and use it as a portable HMI for installation and trouble shooting. Connect the Sellwood pc to the Mitsubishi FX plc with the programming cable. An expensive OPC server is not needed. There is no tag count use as many PLC points as you need. Sellwood uses the power of the PC for data acquisition and monitoring. Monitored PLC points can be displayed with time-date-stamp or written to a fixed disk file. Collected data can be quickly imported into other programs. Recipe lists can be read into the PLC and wav files can be played on the PC by the PLC control. In the edit mode the HMI project is created and edited. There are thirty different control objects such as: pushbuttons, gauges, dials, sliders, knobs, oscilloscope and others that can be picked from the pull down menus and pasted on the screens with a mouse click. Do the math on the PC not a PLC. Math on a PLC is not fun and some math the PLC cannot do at all. Just set up the Sellwood expression evaluator and you can solve complex expressions that a PLC is not capable of doing. The Sellwood expression evaluator monitors the PLC registers used in the expression and when any of the values change the expression is solved and the result is written back to the PLC. In the run mode the HMI project file is opened and the PC establishes communication with the PLC and runs as an HMI. Editing is not allowed in the run mode.
