Blobs is our own rendition of Peg Solitaire and HiQ - popular thinking games similar to Chinese Checkers. The object is simple ... as you jump Blobs over each other, the Blob that you jumped disappears. To complete a level and advance, just end up with only 1 Blob left on the board. Sounds simple enough, but there's a catch. You can only jump a Blob directly over another that is within an adjacent position. Still sound easy? Give it a go! Recommended for 12 and up.

JumpOver is a varied PC version of the classic peg game Solitaire. The aim of the game is easy to understand but hard to succeed: Try to remove the marbles on the board by jumping over the marbles nearby. The marbles are moved with the mouse by drag and drop. JumpOver comes with many different board layout options, several board designs and numerous different marbles, all in high quality graphics. Sound effects and background music are optional. A highscore list tracks who is family's best in number of marbles left as well as speed of solution.

Many mnemonic systems have been developed to aid in remembering numbers (credit cards, phone numbers, PINs, passwords, etc). The most prominent of these assigns a unique consonant sound to each digit, 0-9. These sounds are then used to form words/phrases that are more easily remembered than the raw numbers they represent. For example the number 70395 translates into “example” which, along with the translation rules, is far easier to remember than the number.
The 2Know software automates the translation of numbers to words/phrases using large English, French, and German phonetic dictionaries. The user simply enters the number to be translated and a list of candidate words is produced. The user then selects a word. If additional digits need to be translated, additional candidate words are presented for selection. This process is continued until the numeric string is completely translated.
